Introduction
The Operation Timeguard expansion for CookieRun: Braverse TCG officially launched in Southeast Asia back in June 2025. This highly anticipated expansion is scheduled to arrive in North American stores by January 2026, giving players time to prepare. The release comes just a few months ahead of the World Championship, which will take place in April 2026.

Since Southeast Asian players already have access to the set, we’re using their early insights to support North American Braverse players. We'll review what this expansion offers, highlight key chase cards, and explain the exciting new mechanics introduced in Operation Timeguard.

The Operation Timeguard Expansion for CookieRun Braverse TCG will introduce Dragon Cookies, which feature two powerful abilities that surpass previous level-3 cookies. Both [Pitaya Dragon Cookie] and [Longan Dragon Cookie] have already proven successful in eastern tournaments, securing consistent placements across competitive events. Players can expect these Dragon Cookies to dominate upcoming competitive formats, making them essential inclusions for those aiming to remain ahead in tournaments. I strongly recommend building a deck around [Longan Dragon Cookie], especially for competitive players preparing for the North American release soon.

This expansion introduces three new Timekeeper Cookie cards for Yellow, Green, and Purple, each offering unique strategies and competitive potential. Of the three, Yellow Timekeeper Cookie and Green Timekeeper Cookie have already appeared in Asia Region tournaments, showing strong competitive viability.

Yellow Timekeeper Cookie provides powerful board control once your Break Area reaches level four, dealing a massive six damage upon entering play. Green Timekeeper Cookie strengthens the classic green deck strategy by ramping Support Area, enabling synergies with [Guardian Tree's Blessing] and similar cards. If you decide against building a [Longan Dragon Cookie] deck, consider constructing competitive Green or Yellow decks around their Timekeeper Cookies.
Overall Review
Overall, this expansion proved that the developers care deeply about community feedback while continuing to support the growing competitive scene. Card skills and abilities were presented more clearly compared to the first expansion, making gameplay smoother and easier to understand for players. Starter deck cards also remained relevant in competitive play, even after the expansion launched and went live across the Asian Region.

The competitive scene received strong support through exclusive playmats and promo booster packs, motivating players to perform their best during events. Although Mono Green, Mono Red, and Mono Yellow decks appeared frequently in tournaments, other strategies also remained competitive, with multiple decks capable of winning major events. We will soon break down the META decks from this expansion, providing insights into the most successful and consistent strategies available.
