Brave Beginning Best Decks

During the initial release of CookieRun Braverse in Asia Region, decks from the Brave Beginning set were fairly straightforward. Check out our stater decks breakdown if you're interested in learning more about what each color faction specializes in. In this write-up, we'll showcase all the best decks from the BS1-BS2 set to help you prepare for the game's North American release on July 11, 2025.

META Red Brave Beginning Decks

Red Cookie Decks starts with powerful level 1 cards like Melon Bun Cookie, establishing early board presence and aggressive tempo control. The deck then transitions into strong level 2 cookies such as Rebel Cookie, Cherry Cookie, and Dark Choco Cookie for added pressure.

META-relevant item cards include Giant Cherry Bomb and Prickly Cacti Gloves, which enhance the deck’s direct damage potential. Check out the full deck lists below if you're planning to go competitive with red cookie decks in this expansion of the game.

META Yellow Brave Beginning Decks

Yellow Cookie Decks focus on controlling the game’s tempo using key cards like Timekeeper Cookie and Eclair Cookie effectively. In the late game, once your opponent has exhausted their resources, powerful level 3 cookies can finish the game effectively.

The strategy involves closing games by sending your own level 1 and 2 cookies from the break area into the trash area prolonging the game. Support cards such as Tropical Slushie, Winding Key Shield, and Super-Vita Jelly Bar have become staples in competitive yellow decks. Check out the deck lists below if you’re planning to build a competitive yellow cookie deck!

META Green Brave Beginning Decks

If you’re planning to build a competitive Green Cookie Deck in the game’s first expansion, key investments are absolutely essential. You’ll need to acquire core item cards such as Mischievous Ladybug and Wanderer’s Apple Pie to get your Support Area engine going.

For cookie cards, Blue Lily Cookie has proven to be the best level 3 choice for green decks in the Brave Beginning set. Additionally, the stage-type card Guardian Tree’s Blessing is an auto-include for green decks, offering crucial synergy and Support Area control. Check out the deck examples below to get inspired!

META Blue Brave Beginning Decks

Blue Cookie Decks rely on consistent draw engines to maintain momentum and keep your hand full of answers throughout the game. Key cards like Lucky Pearls, Salt Crystal Trident, Fallen Ice Statue, and Aloe Cookie are essential staples in any competitive blue deck build.

A full playset of the level 3 cookie card, Sea Fairy Cookie, is also considered an auto-include due to its powerful late-game impact. Finally, to enable bounce effects and save your cookies in the battle area, make sure to include Bear Jelly Ice Cream as well. Check out the example deck lists below as you craft your own competitive blue cookie deck for the Brave Beginning expansion.

META Purple Brave Beginning Decks

Purple Cookie Decks aim to manipulate both your own trash area and your opponent’s, creating strong board control and resource denial strategies. Key cards like Forbidden Incantation, Forbidden Grimoire, Wind Archer Cookie, and Poison Mushroom Cookie are staples in competitive purple cookie deck builds.

Although purple decks have seen limited success in Asia region tournaments, a fully upgraded purple deck can still challenge top-tier decks effectively. When piloted correctly, purple decks reward players with clever plays and strong counters that can swing games in their favor dramatically. Here are some example deck lists for you to check out!
