The Age of Heroes and Kingdoms expansion introduces a powerful new mechanic called Soul Jam, a unique type of item card featuring the keyword “equip.” Each color in the game offers its own distinct Soul Jam, designed to pair specifically with cookies carrying the “ancient” tag, enhancing their role in battle.
When you equip a Soul Jam to an ancient cookie, it activates a powerful effect that significantly boosts that cookie’s overall strength and abilities. By equipping the correct Soul Jam, you unlock game-changing potential, making ancient cookies even more impactful on the board during matches.
Age of Heroes and Kingdoms Soul Jam Items
You can equip only one Soul Jam to an ancient cookie at a time. Every choice matters for your strategy. If the equipped ancient cookie faints during battle, the Soul Jam is destroyed. Then, it moves permanently to the trash pile. When an ancient cookie returns from the break area, its previously equipped Soul Jam does not come back with it.

You must equip a new Soul Jam if you want to grant another advantage to that ancient cookie in battle. When activated, place the Soul Jam directly beneath the ancient cookie. This placement shows the Soul Jam is equipped and active. The clear placement makes gameplay easier to track. It also ensures your ancient cookie gains significant advantages on the battlefield.
New Ancient Cookie Cards
The upcoming CookieRun: Braverse TCG Age of Kingdoms expansion introduces several exciting enhancements to the overall card design. Skill names now appear clearly within each card’s text description. This improvement provides players immediate clarity about what each skill does.
A new icon now visually highlights attacks that deal exactly three points of damage. Players can identify these powerful attacks faster. As mentioned earlier, some cookies now include category tags like “Ancient.” These tags significantly influence your deck-building and gameplay strategies.

The ancient cookies in the Age of Kingdoms expansion bring powerful and unique abilities to the battlefield. Hollyberry Cookie reduces final damage by three or more, making it highly resilient while boosting another cookie’s attack to pressure opponents. Golden Cheese Cookie revives with one HP after fainting by paying one cost, but its low HP makes it vulnerable without the Light of Abundance Soul Jam. White Lily Cookie controls the board by adding HP and trashing an opponent’s support card, working best when timed with green deck growth strategies.
Pure Vanilla Cookie supports by letting players draw up to two cards, though its low HP and discard requirement limit its impact. Pairing it with the Light of Truth Soul Jam helps cover its weaknesses. Finally, Dark Cacao Cookie excels at disrupting by trashing HP cards, stopping flip effects, and shutting down defenses. Equipping the Light of Resolution Soul Jam makes it immune to certain effects, turning it into a nearly unstoppable threat.

The Age of Heroes and Kingdoms stage card introduces a unique and exciting new win condition to the game. To win using this stage card, you must meet a challenging requirement by assembling five ancient cookies of different colors in play. Additionally, you need to equip five different colors of Soul Jams, either on the battlefield or in your support area. Once you complete this difficult setup, you can pay one cost for each color and immediately claim victory in the game.
